Registered Social Worker (BSW) Meet Our Team Stacey is a Registered Social Worker who brings a warm, practical and holistic approach to therapy. She works with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, and the challenges that can come with everyday life. While Stacey specializes in working with women, she welcomes clients from all backgrounds and populations. Stacey holds a minor in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and is continuing her professional development in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her approach is person-centred, strengths-based, solution-focused and trauma-informed. Stacey also incorporates psychoeducation into her work, helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviours and recognize the patterns that may be influencing how they feel, respond, relate to others and see themselves. She believes therapy should meet people where they are, without judgement, while providing practical strategies they can use in their everyday lives. Stacey’s professional background includes experience supporting individuals with mental health and emotional challenges, family violence, children and families, difficult life transitions and personal growth. Her experience in life coaching also influences her practical and goal-oriented approach, helping clients recognize their strengths, identify what may be keeping them stuck and create meaningful change. Stacey has a particular interest in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-doubt, people-pleasing, boundaries, emotional regulation, relationships, identity and rebuilding self-trust. She specializes in supporting women through different stages of life, including midlife and the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause. At the heart of Stacey’s approach is the belief that understanding ourselves matters. When we begin to understand why we think, feel and respond the way we do, we can recognize patterns, approach ourselves with greater understanding and begin making choices that better reflect who we are and where we want to go.

Outside of Work Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, watching her daughter play volleyball, reading and getting hooked on a good Netflix series. She’s always been someone who loves learning and discovering new things.
